As per No Child Left Behind, the district and campuses are required to convene a meeting with parents to review, evaluate and update the parental involvement policies and the School-Parent compacts.  A meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10:00 A. M. in the school board room located in the annex building.  Your attendance and input will be greatly appreciated.  If you are able to attend, please let us know by calling Alma Salazar at 361-394-5072.

and delivered by Mark Collins informed students about what it was
like to be the very first-
President of the United States.

and I’ve come to remind a forgetful nation of the legacy of faith and freedom you have been left.”


The Freer ISD School Board made the following changes to the 2013-14 Student Dress Code regarding outerwear, or jackets.  The changes become effective immediately.

Outerwear  - *NEW* (Appendix II Student Dress Code)

Windbreakers, fleece, sweater, sweatshirt-type jackets are allowed, but must have full front zipper or buttons.  No pullovers, dusters, trenchcoats, or shirttails.  

Outerwear  - *OLD* (Appendix II Student Dress Code)  

Color: Windbreakers, fleece, sweater, sweatshirt-type jackets are allowed, but must have full front zipper or buttons.  Brand logos must not exceed 2 inches by 2 inches.  No other lettering, wording, or other designs. No pullovers, dusters, trenchcoats, or shirttails.

Blue Jean Dress Code Changes

Freer ISD has made a change to the 2013-2014 dress code policy. 
Students will be allowed to wear blue jeans to school.  Please see the
attached dress code guidelines from the Student Handbook.
